Central Arizona Modelers, Inc. (CAM) is a social club dedicated to the furtherment of the Radio Controlled (RC) hobby.  Founded in 1979 and chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (Charter #898) the club facility operates under permit from the US Forest Service, Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest. Located between Sedona and Cottonwood Arizona, the club serves the entire Verde Valley with a membership that extends internationally. 

In addition to the 650-foot runway that is groomed and compacted earth for RC aircraft, the club has a track for RC Cars/Trucks.  Other facilities include a solar charging station for RC vehicle batteries and a weather station accessible via Weather Underground
